Description
Local governments have an active role in animal welfare. Most, however, do it poorly. Often, because they lack the knowledge, or don’t see how reducing strays could benefit their constituency from a public health, public safety, and economic angle (i.e., more investment, more tourists). Zero Stray Pawject focuses their efforts on preventing owned pets from being abandoned and overproduced in Greece in collaboration with local governments and the Police. Zero Stray Academy is the first academy in Greece to train municipalities and the Hellenic Police of how to manage and prevent the production of strays.
